Before LA’s summer heat kicks in, we headed to Santa Monica for an early dinner and a relaxing seaside stroll~ 🌅 What’s good to eat around Third Street? We checked Dealmoon and found Maru Sushi & Ramen—decorated with cherry blossoms 🌸, super romantic and exactly the kind of pretty Japanese meal we were craving. Let’s go! 🏃💨 Okonomiyaki (Japanese Savory Pancake) 🔥 A must-order at every izakaya! This one was loaded with ingredients, served piping hot and extra large—the dancing bonito flakes on top made it even more appetizing! Pork Bone Soup Beef Ramen 🍜 The restaurant’s called “Sushi n Ramen” for a reason—their classic tonkotsu ramen did not disappoint! Tender beef, fresh green onions, and rich creamy broth… a warm bowl that’s perfect for the soul. No Rice Rolls – Captain America!! 🍣 When we got to this page on the menu, my friend got so excited! Rice-free sushi named after Avengers heroes? 🦸♀️ How fun! We tried the “Captain America”—and wow, the texture was amazing! Inside: tofu skin, shrimp tempura 🍤, avocado, and spicy tuna—all blended perfectly. Salmon Skin Salad 🥗 My personal favorite!! This salad looks simple, but one bite and the sweet-and-sour sauce totally wins you over.
