🌸🌺🌿🍃 Heijō Palace

Also known as the Heijō-kyō ruins, it was the capital city of Japan during the Nara period. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 The architecture of Heijō-kyō "combined the strengths of both Tang Chang'an and Luoyang" in its construction. It was half the size of the Chang'an palace, with its east, south, west, 🌸🌺🌿🍃 and north palace walls each measuring 1km in length. 🏰 At the Heijō Palace ruins, a tram runs horizontally from east to west. 🚋 🌸🌺🌿🍃 【The tram line from Yamato-Saidaiji Station to Shin-Daigokudo Station is one of the sections that pass through this area】 This is because, during the construction of the tram line, 🌸🌺🌿🍃 the former Heijō-kyō was buried beneath the fields here, and later, artifacts from that time were excavated. Based on the excavation data, attempts were made to reconstruct the palace. 🔍🏛️ #HeijoPalace 🌸🌺🌿🍃
