📸 Tokyo + Mount Fuji 6-Day Tour 🗼🗻

Our 6-day, 5-night trip to Tokyo, Japan, went really smoothly in every aspect! Thanks to all the advance planning and the blessings from Senso-ji Temple, haha! Here's a summary of our experiences, hoping it can help you have a smooth trip too! 🙏 🚕 Transportation Tips: Airport Round Trip: If traveling in peak season, if your flight to Japan is delayed, definitely consider booking a pick-up service in advance! Once you land, collect your luggage, and clear customs after midnight, there's no public transportation, and taxis in Tokyo are super expensive, even more so than in London! So, make sure to book a pick-up before boarding, it's at least half the price of a taxi and the service is great, with no extra fees! City Transportation: Most places are accessible by subway. Use your phone to set up a Suica card in advance with Apple Pay (add the card in the "Wallet" app, enter: Suica). Just tap your phone to the reader when boarding the subway or train, very convenient. Download Google Maps in advance for navigation, but remember, the stops for Japanese subways and trains change every minute! Always check in real-time and board according to the times shown in the navigation. Suburban Transportation - Mount Fuji: Remember to buy tickets in advance on fujikyuko. It takes nearly two hours from Tokyo to Mount Fuji, so try to buy tickets for the morning, otherwise, you might miss the scenery if you arrive after sunset. You can also consider joining a one-day tour, which we did, and it was a great experience, saving us the trouble of finding transportation and spots to visit. 🎢 Attraction Tips: Disney: If you only have one day for Tokyo Disney like us, I strongly recommend choosing the Sea version because the Land version is similar to Shanghai Disney. The Sea version is only in Tokyo. Remember to download the Disney Tokyo app in advance, scan your ticket upon entering the park, and you can purchase fast passes. The spots are very limited, so make sure to enter the park early. There's a 40th-anniversary event with lots of free fast passes available. Top 3 recommended attractions: Tower of Terror > Journey to the Center of the Earth > Indiana Jones Adventure Ueno Toshogu Shrine & Senso-ji Temple: You can visit these together. Ueno Toshogu Shrine has a wider variety of amulets for purchase. At Senso-ji Temple, if you're afraid of drawing a bad omen, you can check in advance if your zodiac sign clashes with the shrine. When you arrive at Senso-ji Temple, you can worship first or buy a Daikoku amulet before drawing a I used this method and drew two good omens in a row. 🛍️ Shopping: Places like Ginza and Shinjuku have many brand stores, and they're great for shopping. Remember to check if there are any discount promotions in the stores. The discounts plus the exchange rate are really attractive, especially for jewelry brands like Graff / Chaumet. We got a great deal on a diamond ring this time. There's a limit on buying E-cakes in the city; one passport can only buy one . #JapanTravel #Tokyo #TokyoTravelGuide #JapanShopping #TokyoDisney #SensoJiTemple #Graff
