Exploration | Google Full-Score Praised Restaurant π
The day was originally planned for another restaurant, but perhaps due to the France vs. Monaco match, the chef called to say that all reservations were canceled due to technical issues π₯Ή. We then discovered this hidden gem on Google Maps with 300 reviews, nearly a full score! β¨ Menu of the Day They don't have a fixed menu; the daily menu is handwritten on a small blackboard. It's divided into three appetizers, two main courses, and four desserts, which diners can mix and match freely. Appetizers started with two Mediterranean snacks, fried vegetable balls falafel, served with a refreshing pesto sauce that was very appetizing. Appetizer Choices [Boudin Blanc] First time trying French white sausage, mixed with watercress that naturally brings a fragrance, complementing the chewy texture of the sausage π. [Scallop] Slightly pan-fried scallops complement a variety of mushrooms, both delicious and rich, without overpowering the scallop's flavor, which is a true test of skill! π Main Courses [Pork Chop] The pork chop was cooked tender and juicy, paired with roasted pears, sweet and sour, absolutely delicious! π [Deer in 2 ways] Never had venison before, wanted to try it. The seasoning was layered, but the taste of the venison itself didn't quite match my personal preference. Desserts [Chesnut cake + sea salt caramel Sobert] A blessing for chestnut lovers, the rich chestnut cake paired with sea salt caramel ice cream, one bite after another, I couldn't stop, wishing I had a second stomach just for dessert π. Overall Review The waitress who prepared the appetizers outside was humming a song while cooking, and as a diner, I could feel her passion for cooking. In terms of taste, it's absolutely on par with the Michelin restaurants I've eaten at in Paris! The overall feel of this restaurant is like a highly talented mischievous student, who could easily earn stars if they tried harder, but prefers to play by their own rules, going with the flow.
