10/24 🍁 Shenandoah National Park Road Trip Diary 🍂

Went yesterday—the fall foliage is already at its peak! 🍁 Sunlight is the best filter, casting the mountains in a brilliant golden glow. So breathtaking! ✨ We entered through the north entrance and drove along Skyline Drive for about two hours. The most stunning views were truly along the way 😭❤️ We stopped at every overlook point to take photos and soak in the beauty. 📸 P.S. Because of the government shutdown, park admission was FREE! 🆓 Saved $20—what a sweet surprise! 🎉 Later, we visited the Luray Caverns in the nearby town of Luray. The cave system was absolutely mind-blowing! 🤯 A massive underground world that left us in awe of nature’s artistry. It took about an hour to explore (this one’s paid, around $30+ per person). For dinner, we hit up the popular Peter Chang restaurant. Their Peking duck was so delicious 🤤🤤—about 80% as authentic as the real deal in Beijing. My Chinese-food-loving heart was very satisfied! 🦆🍚 Have you been to Shenandoah during peak foliage season? What’s your favorite overlook?
