Just got back from a whirlwind weekend in Lake Tahoe β flew out of SFO to NYC right after! π« If youβre short on time but want the best of Tahoe, this efficient yet stunning itinerary is for you! Day 1 Drove from SF to South Lake Tahoe β Explored the right (eastern) side β Stayed in Incline Village π‘ Day 2 Morning: Clear kayaking π£βοΈ Afternoon: Explored the left (western) side β Drove back to SFO We focused on the most iconic spots β each unique in scenery and experience: ποΈ Must-Do Stops: 1οΈβ£ Cave Rock πͺ¨ 30-min hike with a rewarding climb (hands needed in some parts!) Even manageable in a long skirt and sneakers ππ Views = breathtaking! Parking is VERY limited β go early! 2οΈβ£ Secret Cove π Clothing-optional beach with unbelievably clear water Small, scenic, perfect for kayaking or relaxing ποΈ Park at Secret Cove Parking β look for decent stone steps across the road (no sign!) 3οΈβ£ Rail Tracks π€οΈ Spirited Away-style underwater tracks Best photo light in the morning πΈ We went at 1 PM β still worked! As an Asian-food lover, I rarely enjoy "white people food," but this place impressed!
