2 Days in Columbus (Marathon Edition) 🚶♂️💨
I was truly caught off guard by the unassuming vibe of downtown and German Village 😮. This trip was like eating hot pot—full of ups and downs, swinging between "wow" and "meh" 😅. Here’s my real take—hope it helps you plan a fun and realistic trip! (⭐️ = rating out of 5) Ohio State University ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thompson Library: So quiet, with an impressive glass book wall 📚. Lil Lake: A tiny but photogenic pond near the library 📸. Ohio Stadium: Classic arch design 🏟️. German Village ⭐️ Book Loft: A maze-like bookstore with 32 rooms 🧩—they even give you a map! Great for book lovers (could be 5⭐ if you’re shopping), with some nice deals. Otherwise, shops are scattered and hard to explore. Wanted to visit a café? It closed at 3 PM 😤. North Market ⭐️⭐️⭐️ A cozy indoor farmers’ market 🥬: Lobster roll & fish & chips were decent 🐟 Pasta & ramen: okay Also sells semi-prepared foods and gorgeous hydrangeas that lasted two weeks! 💐 Easton Town Center ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The best spot for shopping in Columbus! 🛍️ Mix of indoor + outdoor stores (e.g., ALO, Aritzia, Tiffany, LV…) Delmar: Loved their lobster pasta & salmon tartare ❣️ Brio Italian Grill: Not my favorite Jeni’s Ice Cream: Wayyyyy too sweet 🍦😖 Chinese Restaurants Roundup 湘遇东北 (Hunan & Northeast Cuisine) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️: So delicious! Perfect blend of Northeastern & Hunan flavors 😋. Owner is super nice too! Amazing Wok ⭐️⭐️⭐️: They serve iron pot stew—flavor was a bit light, but still worth a try 🍲 Fox in the Snow ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 📍 Italian Village Incredible egg sandwich 😍—that fluffy bread is everything! Final Thoughts: Columbus has its surprises and letdowns, but with this guide, you’ll know exactly where to head ✌️. #ColumbusGuide #ColumbusFood #ColumbusOH #TravelTips #FoodieAdventure 🏙️🍴
