💞 7-Day Loop Tour to Explore "Tear of the Indian Ocean" - Sri Lanka
🌍 Classic Route: Colombo → Negombo → Dambulla → Kandy → Nuwara Eliya → Galle🌈 ✨ Must-Visit Attractions: 1️⃣ Colombo ▪️ The Red Mosque vs modern skyscrapers, a magical realist "Eastern Crossroads". ▪️ The real-life version of the sea train from "Spirited Away". 2️⃣ Negombo ▪️ The fish market at 5 am. However, the venue has a strong fishy smell, so those considering it are advised to be cautious.🐙 ▪️ Most local people are religious (Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, and Christianity are all practiced here), so there are many churches ⛪, such as St. Mary's Church. The sound of church bells and the bustle of the fishing port depict the most authentic daily life in Sri Lanka.👍 🌻🌻▪️ Lagoon boat tour, where you can get close to monkeys, but be careful not to be grabbed by them. 3️⃣ Dambulla Climb the 2000-year-old cave temple complex. Monkeys are everywhere here, very naughty—be careful they don't steal your shoes!👟 It's said that wishes made here are very effective; remember to bring a lotus flower to offer to the golden Buddha.🎃🎃 4️⃣ Kandy ▪️ Near Kandy, there is an "Elephant Orphanage" that houses elephants, where you can watch a group of elephants bathing. It's coast, costing around 130 RMB per person. The elephants have chains on their feet, which is said to prevent them from fighting and hurting each other.🛖 ✨▪️ Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic (recommended for religious friends). ▪️ Royal Botanic Gardens, Peradeniya. The entire garden is leisurely and relaxed, making it my current favorite garden. There is a tree planted by Zhou Enlai and his wife, a romance spanning 20 years.🌙 5️⃣ Nuwara Eliya The tea plantation train passes through a foggy forest like that in "The Wizard of Oz". You can sit by the door of the train, but be careful!🌟 6️⃣ Galle Fort A fort built by the Dutch. Unfortunately, we arrived at night. It's recommended to go in the daytime, preferably in the late afternoon, to be amazed by the beautiful view of the Indian Ocean from the fort, as well as the famous scene of "fire clouds + fishermen hauling nets".🍦🍦 💡 Practical Tips (to enhance your experience) 🔹 Transportation: Combine (private car) and train. The "sea train" from Galle to Colombo is a must, as is the "tea plantation train" from Nuwara Eliya to Ella!😊😊 We hired a local driver, who was extremely kind. Along the way, he introduced the plants by the roadside to us and recommended local activities according to our needs.⛅ 🐙🐙 He was really nice. Once, when we didn't have enough cash, the driver even went out of his way to the bank to withdraw money for us. 🔹 Food: Crab curry, Hopper (coconut pancake), coconut water (the weather is so hot that we drank it all the way, and it's really natural coconut water).🌈🌈 #SriLankaTravel#VisaFreeCountryRecommendation#TearoftheIndianOcean
