๐Ÿด A Bite of Gainesville ๐Ÿด

Clearing out my phone gallery and found a bunch of food photos from around town! ๐Ÿฅก๐Ÿ“ธ While Gainesville is a college town and not exactly a tourist hotspot, itโ€™s still home to some real gemsโ€”especially when friends and family come to visit. Hereโ€™s my roundup of affordable and tasty spots around the village โ€” hope it helps! ๐Ÿ˜Š ๐Ÿ“ Red Rice Kitchen โ€“ A fantastic Southeast Asian spot! Their pho and Taiwanese-style noodles are delicious. I also love their clay pot chicken with rice ๐Ÿฒโค๏ธ. ๐Ÿ“ Sushi Matsuri โ€“ My favorite Japanese restaurant in town โ€” even better than Hana and Hibachi, in my opinion! The sashimi is super fresh ๐Ÿฃ, and their curry pork cutlet is huge and satisfying ๐Ÿ›. ๐Ÿ“ Mi Apรก Latin Cafรฉ โ€“ A popular local chain serving Cuban sandwiches, coffee, pastries, and even guava juice! ๐Ÿฅชโ˜•๏ธ A hit with the locals. ๐Ÿ“ Kekeโ€™s Breakfast โ€“ A beloved brunch chain with both sweet and savory options. You can order pancakes, French toast, or build your own combo โ€” perfect for mixing flavors! ๐Ÿฅž๐Ÿณ ๐Ÿ“ Bolay โ€“ A healthy fast-casual spot where you can pick your proteins, veggies, and base (rice, grains, or noodles). Simple, fresh, and surprisingly satisfying! ๐Ÿฅฌ๐Ÿš ๐Ÿ“ Beque Holic โ€“ All-you-can-eat Korean BBQ! ๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿ”ฅ Some marinated meats burn easily (grill with care ๐Ÿ˜…), but the ingredients are fresh and thereโ€™s a great variety โ€” including appetizers! ๐Ÿ“ Indian Cuisine โ€“ Yes, thatโ€™s literally its name ๐Ÿ˜‚. Their lunch buffet is awesome! Took a birder friend whoโ€™d never had real Indian food before, and he loved it. Canโ€™t wait to bring my parents here too! ๐Ÿ›๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿ‘ง ๐Ÿ“ Original American Kitchen (The OAK) โ€“ A cozy downtown spot with solid burgers ๐Ÿ”, though the roasted chicken was a bit bland. Great atmosphere with sports TV โ€” we went on Super Bowl night! ๐Ÿˆ๐Ÿ“บ ๐Ÿ“ Crane Ramen โ€“ A popular downtown ramen shop with limited seating ๐Ÿœ. Broth is flavorful, portions come in two sizes (no waste!), and the sides are unique and tasty. Thatโ€™s all for this round! More to come โ€” including bubble tea, coffee, Italian ice, and other sweet treats around townโ€ฆ ๐Ÿง‹๐Ÿงโ˜• ๐ŸŒธ Feel free to recommend new spots or share your own food experiences below! ๐ŸŒธ๐Ÿ˜Š #Foodie #GainesvilleEats #UF #GatorNation #BudgetEats #JapaneseFood #SoutheastAsian #IndianFood #Brunch #KoreanBBQ #AllYouCanEat #Ramen #FoodGuide
