Florida|Gainesville|Local Rotisserie Chicken Spot 🍗

Randomly tried a local Gainesville chain — Los Pollos Rotisserie & Grill! Opened in late 2018, this spot serves up Tex-Mex, rotisserie chicken, and Peruvian dishes. 🎯 They currently have two locations in town. The restaurant is pretty spacious with a casual fast-food vibe, and the prices are very affordable. We went on a weekday afternoon. Since it was pretty busy for dine-in, we got a whole rotisserie chicken to go. 🚗 Their chickens are roasted fresh—you can see a huge rotating oven right behind the counter! The chicken itself is on the smaller side, probably a young bird 🐤, and the meat was tender and juicy—not dry at all. However, the seasoning was just okay. The skin was pretty salty, while the meat itself was a bit bland. It came with two sauces: ✅ The green one had a strong celery flavor— refreshing and unique! ✅ The yellow one tasted like lemon-infused ranch— tangy and creamy. Overall, I’d give it a 3.6/5 ⭐ Worth trying if you’re craving roast chicken, but don’t set your expectations too high. It’s still nowhere near the best rotisserie chicken I’ve ever had—shoutout to the BRODY Dining Hall at MSU, truly the GOAT! 🐔👑 Locations: 1️⃣ 2410 NW 43rd St, Gainesville, FL 32606 2️⃣ 8181 NW 39th Ave, Gainesville, FL 32606 #Florida #Gainesville #UF #UniversityOfFlorida #FoodReview #RotisserieChicken #Foodie #GainesvilleEats #PeruvianFood #TexMex
