📍 A Century-Old French Cuisine at the Dimly Lit Corner 🍾
After wandering out of the Palace of Versailles, we stumbled upon this restaurant, which turned out to be the best French cuisine we've had in the past few days, at least to our taste. We arrived at the restaurant before the dinner rush, so we were the only ones there. We sat by the window, enjoying the view of the street outside. It was raining 🌧️, and the little streets of Versailles were so peaceful, incredibly soothing. 🛎️ The waiter was very gentle and patiently explained the menu in English and introduced us to the restaurant. 🧅 Onion Soup 🧅 This is my favorite soup I've had in France, haha, mainly because the cheese layer is so thick!!! It can be stretched super long~ The rich cheese paired with the soup made me feel that the fatigue from walking around Versailles all day disappeared instantly. 🐌 Snails 🐌 Traditionally prepared. The bread that comes with it ensures the juices don't get lost. 🥘 Beef Bourguignon 🥘 Braised beef! Red wine, onions, mushrooms, the sauce has seeped into the beef, and the meat is so tender, there's no fibrous texture left, instead, every strand of meat is filled with sauce, incredibly delicious! Without a doubt, this braised beef was my favorite part of the meal. I also tried dipping the remaining sauce with mashed potatoes, which I recommend, it's really good. 🥩 Steak 🥩 A regular steak. The mashed potatoes on the side were exquisite. #FashionableRestaurantMap #WishToRecordThisMoment #ThisTemplateHasSomething #FrenchCuisine #DateNightRestaurant #GlobalFoodAndDrinkSquad #France #Paris #Versailles
