🌟A Century-Old French Restaurant in the Glow of Lights 🍾
After visiting the Palace of Versailles, we stumbled upon this gem—arguably the best French meal we’ve had during our trip, or at least the one that suited our taste buds the most. We arrived before the dinner rush, so the restaurant was empty except for us. We sat by the window, enjoying the view of the quiet, rainy streets of Versailles 🌧️. It was incredibly soothing. 🛎️ The waiter was super kind and patiently explained the menu in English, giving us a little introduction to the restaurant. 🧅 Onion Soup 🧅 This was my favorite soup in France, hands down! The cheese layer was so thick—it stretched forever! The rich cheese paired with the broth instantly wiped away the fatigue from walking around Versailles all day. 🐌 Snails 🐌 Traditional preparation. The bread served with it kept all the flavorful juices intact. 🥘 Boeuf Bourguignon 🥘 Beef stew! Red wine, onions, and mushrooms infused into the beef, which was so tender it practically melted in your mouth. Every bite was packed with flavor—absolutely delicious! Without a doubt, this was my favorite dish of the meal. Though my friend joked that it tasted very “Chinese” haha. I even tried dipping the mashed potatoes into the leftover sauce—highly recommend, it’s fantastic! 🥩 Steak 🥩 A classic steak. The mashed potatoes on the side were divine. 🏠 Le Bœuf à la Mode #TrendyRestaurantMap #CaptureTheMoment #ThisTemplateIsSomething #FrenchCuisine #DateNightRestaurant #GlobalFoodieSquad #France #Paris #Versailles
