A Cozy French Bistro in Aspen 🍷✨
This Thanksgiving, my friends and I took a ski road trip to Denver —and since my friend’s birthday fell on Thanksgiving, we celebrated at this charming French bistro in Aspen! The place is small but cozy , with dim lighting (menu-reading required a flashlight 🔦). Less *haute cuisine*, more warm, homey vibes . 💕 Food Review : Good but not mind-blowing . 🍽️ Starters : - French Onion Soup : Cheesy, rich (8/10). - Snails : Shell-less, in tomato sauce + bread (meh, 5/10). - Winter Salad : Sesame dressing (unexpected twist! 8/10). 🍷 Mains : - Beef Bourguignon : Tender, wine-heavy , with pasta (7/10). - Savory Crêpe (lamb ragout) : Creative but not wow (7/10). 🍰 Dessert Disaster : - "Midnight in Paris" Crêpe : Promised crème brûlée custard + caramel … but the custard was MIA ! Just sad, dry crepe (0/10 😤). *Should’ve gotten the pistachio ice cream or chocolate-banana one!* Verdict : A solid spot that adds hometown charm to fancy Aspen—but temper expectations . 📍 French Alpine Bistro, Aspen #FoodReview #Aspen #FrenchCuisine #SkiTrip #Thanksgiving
