A Day in Calgary Downtown🗼
❄️On the way to Banff, I stopped in Calgary for a day and discovered that this city is much more interesting to explore than I had imagined. 🌆 Compared to Vancouver, 📸which is full of sandy beaches and coastal charm, Calgary's air is much drier, and its most bustling areas have less of a modern vibe. 🌬️ 🗼 The Calgary Tower is visible from afar and serves as a landmark of the city. For just $20, you can go to the top and enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view of the city. Part of the floor is made of glass, and it's hard not to feel a bit vertiginous standing there! 🌑 🚇 The Wonderland sculpture (a huge white human face) is another iconic spot, always bustling with people taking photos. 📸 ccording to locals, Calgary can get as cold as -40°C❄️ in winter. That's why all the buildings have indoor skywalks on the second floor, allowing people to move between them without braving the cold. ❄️ 🚏 The C-train, with its long, red carriages, is also quite different from anything you'd see in Vancouver. 🚇 Even if it's your first time here, it's definitely worth spending some time to soak up the unique atmosphere of "Cowtown." 🎬 #Calgary #CityWalk #BanffNationalPark🗼
