πΏπ A Day of Serendipity in Kyoto(2)
πΈπΊ Nijo Castle - Kinkaku-ji - Honnoji Temple π So I looked up Honnoji Temple, intending to visit the site where Nobunaga met his downfall. πΈπΊπΏπ When I arrived, I found that only a stone monument remained. The reconstructed temple is located elsewhere, so I set off on foot again. πΈπΊπΏπ When I got there, it turned out to be a rather obscure spot with hardly any visitors. After a brief look around, it began to grow dark, and I made my way to Shijoko River to catch a bus back to Osaka. πΆββοΈ πΈπΊπΏπ I found Kyoto's public transportation to be a bit pricey, with a single ride costing 230 yen, regardless of the distance. Even with two transfers to get to Kinkaku-ji, covering just a few kilometers, it cost me 460 yen. πΈπΊπΏπ The Hankyu train from Kyoto back to Osaka was only 410 yen. π I highly recommend everyone to buy a one-day pass; otherwise, πΈπΊπΏπ you might end up like me, spending over a thousand yen on buses and subways in a single day in Kyoto. ποΈ #KyotoAdventure #PublicTransportTips #HistoricTemple πΈπΊπΏπ
