A Delicious Surprise on the Road
🍺While driving from Storrs, Connecticut to Boston, Massachusetts, we decided to make a spontaneous stop here for pizza and do some shopping in the area. The pizza was excellent, and the atmosphere was great. 🍺The classic Margherita pizza had a thin, chewy crust with rich buffalo mozzarella and the fresh aroma of basil leaves that tied everything together. 🍕The sausage and mushroom pizza was generously topped, with the savory Italian sausage blending perfectly with the earthy flavor of the mushrooms. The best part was the crust—fluffy, crispy, and without any heavy doughiness. 🍕Fellini's Pizzeria & Cafe may be small, but it has character. The red brick walls are adorned with vintage movie posters, and in the open kitchen, the pizza chefs skillfully toss the dough. The server, noticing we had luggage, proactively brought extra napkins and recommended a local craft beer. 🥣At around $15 per person, it’s a satisfying meal that offers more heart than chain pizzerias. If you’re passing near Route 93, it’s worth detouring off the highway to try. #HandmadePizza #FoodOnTheGo #Providence
