A Desert Town Where Desolation Meets Art – So Photogenic! 📸✨
I’ve previously shared about the art installations at Bombay Beach, but the town itself is totally worth capturing too! 🏚️ Every house I saw was weathered and worn, continuing that aesthetic of ruin and decay—but in a strangely beautiful way. It’s a mix of stark desert beauty and artistic revival. 🎨🌵 I looked it up later: although often called a “ghost town,” Bombay Beach actually has a significant number of full-time residents, including people from various socioeconomic backgrounds. It even welcomes seasonal residents during the winter! 🧢❄️ Locals and artists interact in unique ways, gradually turning this barren land into a bohemian hub of art and expression. 🥂🎪 As a coffee lover, I was surprised to spot a coffee shop here—so cool! ☕💫 But if you visit in summer, be prepared… it gets seriously, cry-worthy hot! 🥵 If you’re looking for a unique photoshoot spot, though, this place really delivers.
