A Different Vienna

This trip to Vienna is for two purposes: sightseeing and celebrating a friend's birthday. Austrian cuisine is okay for me, not a big fan, but what I've tried this time was decent. To my surprise, the Thai and Turkish food in Vienna was exceptional!😍😍😍 1. **Ribs of Vienna** – This internet-famous spot is highly recommended and lives up to the hype, especially for Asian taste buds. *Weihburggasse 22, 1010 Wien* 2. **Waldviertlerhof** – Strongly recommended by locals. Book ahead! When we arrived at 11:30 a.m., the garden was almost fully booked. *Schönbrunner Str. 20, 1050 Wien*❤️❤️❤️ 3. **Lamee Rooftop** – Perfect for capturing the cathedral rooftop! Not the most cost-effective, but sunset views are stunning. *Schönbrunner Str. 20, 1050 Wien* 4. **Bratislavský meštiansky pivovar** – Day trip to Bratislava, Slovakia. The 1.8kg pork knuckle was amazing, enough for two. The chiliworked wonders, and the local dessert (pastry with poppy seeds) was delightful. 😂😂😂 *Dunajská 21, 811 08 Staré Mesto* 5. **All Reis** – Highly recommend this Thai restaurant! Excellent flavors and drinks. Must-try papaya salad for spice lovers! A local friend said nothing here disappoints. They have a downtown location, but we visited their slightly more out-of-the-way spot. *Schweglerstraße 12, 1150 Wien* 6. **Nguyen's Pho Viet** – Stopped by for pho – delicious and affordable! 😍😍😍 *Taborstraße 21A, 1020 Wien* 7. **Damak Etli Ekmek-Grill Restaurant-Cafe** – Turkish food isn't just kebabs! This place offers authentic, diverse Turkish dishes. The lamb is fantastic! They serve Turkish breakfast as brunch. We opted for meat (so much meat!!). Try their salty yogurt drink and fresh pomegranate juice (4.8 euros). Prices are very reasonable. The lamb kebab is a must! They also serve free black tea, which is refillable. This restaurant completely changed my perception of Turkish cuisine – it's truly delicious! *Booking is essential – can't stress this enough!* #ViennaTravel #ViennaFood #AustriaTravel
