A French Restaurant Worth Revisiting

I’d been here before and had a great impression, so when I saw they were part of Dine LA this week, I returned! A Food Affair $55 per person for the prix fixe menu (lamb shank is a +$9 upgrade). The dishes are beautifully presented and generously portioned — definitely great value! 🥗 First Course We tried the Mushroom Tourte — buttery, flaky crust with rich, creamy cheese and earthy mushrooms. So satisfying! Also the Artisan Salad — a lovely surprise with fresh yellow peaches and bold goat cheese, lightly dressed with balsamic. Refreshing and tasty! 🥩 Second Course Braised Beef Brisket and Lamb Shank (the +$9 upgrade). Both were intensely flavorful — almost crave a bowl of rice alongside! The lamb shank was especially aromatic and tender, a must-try for lamb lovers. 🍬 Dessert Classic Chocolate Mousse and Crème Brûlée — both solid choices! Sweetness level was just right — not overly sugary. Our server kindly suggested pairing with tea or coffee. We also ordered their house-made passion fruit lemonade — quite sweet but perfect when diluted with a little water. 🚗 Parking is easy — street parking right outside, spots in the nearby plaza, or you can look in the surrounding neighborhood if needed. The owner is a graceful French woman who greets guests warmly in French. 🥰 The chef came out during dessert just to say hello and complimented, “What a beautiful lady!” — such a sweet touch. 👨🍳💐 After tax, tip, and drinks, two people spent around $170 — left completely full and happy! Dine LA is on — don’t miss this spot! 🏃‍♀️💨 #LAFood #DineLA ##DomaineDeLaRomanéeConti #RomaneeSaintVivant
