A Fusion Izakaya? Tastes Like Home | Worcester Eats ๐ŸŒง๏ธ

Didnโ€™t feel like cooking on a rainy day, so we explored a cozy Japanese-inspired spot right in downtown Worcester. Best part? Didnโ€™t have to drive โ€“ finally got to enjoy some drinks! ๐Ÿถ๐ŸŽ‰ The menu is a fun mix of Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Thai influences โ€“ creative, unexpected, and totally worth trying! ๐Ÿฅข Standout Dishes: Beef Tataki: Super fresh, served with apple vinegar and shichimi pepper โ€“ light, tangy, and layered with flavor. Dumplings: Infused with lemongrass โ€“ aromatic and deliciously reminiscent of Dai cuisine from Yunnan. Couldnโ€™t believe I tasted a hint of home in a Worcester izakaya! ๐Ÿ˜‹โค๏ธ ๐Ÿ”ฅ Also Great: Yakitori: Especially the chicken skin โ€“ super crispy and flavorful! Salmon: Tender and not fishy at all. Pork Belly: Rich but not greasy. The sauce was a bit heavy though โ€“ better with a drink! ๐Ÿบ ๐Ÿœ Just Okay: Ramen (Dry Version: Looked and smelled amazing, but the noodles were underwhelming in taste. Too much sesame oil made it hard to finish. Took it home to remix! Definitely recommend if youโ€™re into bold, fusion flavors and a relaxed vibe ๐ŸŽŽ๐Ÿด #WorcesterFood #JapaneseFusion #IzakayaVibes #ComfortFood #RainyDayEats #WorcesterMA
