A Fusion Izakaya? Tastes Like Home | Worcester Eats ๐ง๏ธ
Didnโt feel like cooking on a rainy day, so we explored a cozy Japanese-inspired spot right in downtown Worcester. Best part? Didnโt have to drive โ finally got to enjoy some drinks! ๐ถ๐ The menu is a fun mix of Japanese, Chinese, Korean, and Thai influences โ creative, unexpected, and totally worth trying! ๐ฅข Standout Dishes: Beef Tataki: Super fresh, served with apple vinegar and shichimi pepper โ light, tangy, and layered with flavor. Dumplings: Infused with lemongrass โ aromatic and deliciously reminiscent of Dai cuisine from Yunnan. Couldnโt believe I tasted a hint of home in a Worcester izakaya! ๐โค๏ธ ๐ฅ Also Great: Yakitori: Especially the chicken skin โ super crispy and flavorful! Salmon: Tender and not fishy at all. Pork Belly: Rich but not greasy. The sauce was a bit heavy though โ better with a drink! ๐บ ๐ Just Okay: Ramen (Dry Version: Looked and smelled amazing, but the noodles were underwhelming in taste. Too much sesame oil made it hard to finish. Took it home to remix! Definitely recommend if youโre into bold, fusion flavors and a relaxed vibe ๐๐ด #WorcesterFood #JapaneseFusion #IzakayaVibes #ComfortFood #RainyDayEats #WorcesterMA
