A Hidden Gem in Seattle 🌳 Seattle Chinese Garden

I’ve always wanted to take a set of autumn-themed photos in a classical Chinese garden. Even though I didn’t get my hanfu delivered in time, the garden’s beauty still left me completely satisfied. Now I’m already looking forward to coming back in traditional attire for another photoshoot šŸ“·. šŸ“ Seattle Chinese Garden: 6000 16th Ave SW, Seattle Located on a college campus in South Seattle, about a 30-minute drive from Bellevue. The garden isn’t very large and still feels somewhat under development. Inside, you’ll find rockeries and pavilions; outside, a serene bamboo grove adds to the classical charm. It’s rarely crowded on weekends, and cultural events related to Chinese heritage are occasionally held here. The soft autumn sunlight and dappled shade make for excellent photo conditions. A spacious free parking lot šŸ…æļø is available just outside the garden. šŸ‚ Tips for your visit: Late afternoon to sunset offers the best warm, layered light for photos Wear simple or traditional-style clothing to harmonize with the garden scenery Gentle paths make it ideal for leisurely walks, quiet reflection, or family time A tranquil Eastern retreat tucked away in the city—perfect for quiet contemplation, soaking in zen atmosphere, or capturing poetic moments through the lens. #Seattle#Seattlelife#Seattlediary#Seattlegarden#Seattleguide
