A Hidden Gem of Asian Fusion Cuisine Found by AccidentđŻđŻ
A group of us, drenched in the heavy snow, made our way down from the mountains. Most popular restaurants on Xiaohongshu require reservations and donât allow walk-ins. So, we randomly picked a place in the city center, and it turned out to be quite good! After several days of Western food in Norway, it was finally time to satisfy our Asian cravings. đ Restaurant: Hibana Tromsø Address: Storgata 73, 9008 Tromsø, Norway đ Katsu Pork The best pork cutlet we had! It was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The accompanying soy sauce noodles were slightly sweet and a great match. The broccoli also helped cut through the richness. đ Hibana Steak A steak that never disappoints. We ordered the filet medium-rare, which was just right. The texture was smooth and delicate, and the meat was perfectly cookedâcrispy on the outside and tender on the inside. We always finish the little potatoes that come with the steak. The sushi and tempura were pretty standard. As for the reindeer ramen, itâs better to skip it; the reindeer meat was a bit tough. After finishing dinner at a Michelin-starred restaurant, I still hadnât had enough to drink, so I asked the waiter to recommend a bar. The barâs wine list was ten times more extensive than Fagnâs, and we embarked on a treasure hunt for great deals. At noon, we first ordered a bottle of Roumier. The fully booked restaurant managed to squeeze in a table for us, and we asked them to decant the wine and save it for the evening. Later, we ordered a bottle of Duroche to celebrate. The food in the evening was incredibly delicious, much better than last nightâs Michelin meal. We hadnât planned to drink so much, but before we knew it, we were enjoying ourselves again. đ #MichelinRestaurantReview #NorwayTravel #NorwegianCuisine #Tromso #TromsoFood #Norway #NorwayTravel #NorwegianCuisine
