The food wasn’t that great, especially for the price. Ordered the dirty hibana maki and the duck maki, both tasted the same, and in particular the duck one tasted like nothing, all i could taste was the spicy mayo on top, my girlfriend had the ramen which was incredibly average but still high priced, and the worst was a spring roll, 140 kr for a single roll cut in half and filled only with rice noodles, no vegetables or mushrooms or the advertised spicy sauce, just a sad empty roll hot on the outside and still cold on the inside. The service wasn’t that great either, the waiter was overworked, running around, broke a glass (and left it there for the whole dinner) and by the time i asked for the check he started taking someone’s else’s order while i paid, didn’t even look or greet us while we put in the pin and went home. Absurd price for the quality, i have lived in Tromso 4 years and this was one of the worst and definitely most expensive dinner i had, literally any other restaurant would have...
Read moreI ordered skewers, pork dishes, and a side of kimchi. Personally, I quite enjoyed the skewers. The quality of the ingredients was excellent: the meat was tender, and the vegetables had a nice, subtle sweetness. It seems like the chef here just looked at a picture of kimchi and used familiar ingredients to color the cabbage.
If you thought the kimchi here was good, you might need to broaden your culinary horizons. There’s no shortage of authentic recipes online with just a simple search.
The servers, however, were kind and attentive, which...

The food however was very disappointing compared to what we read and saw online. Maybe our expectations were too high, based on what we saw and read, but our culinary experience was quite bad. The food arrived quickly, but I would rather have waited longer to get better food. This was due to the following:
The rice was out of stock when we tried to order sushi. How do you manage to have rice out of stock if half the menu is sushi..? Therefore we sadly can't judge their sushi
Our bao buns looked and tasted baked instead of steamed. If I recall correctly, the menu also mentioned kimchi on the bao buns, but it seemed like a very simple pulled meat
The ribeye was very chewy and not tender at all while we ordered medium rare. I had one small somewhere tender piece of ribeye
Gyoza were fine, but...
