A leisurely, unexpected one-day tour in Calgary—it was awesome😎

🌟 Upside-down Church Sculpture in East Village Calgary Tower 🌟 Wonderland Sculpture: Created by Spanish artist 🧑‍🎨 Jaume Plensa, this sculpture has a hollow structure. Visitors can step inside and interact with the space and light from different angles—it’s super unique~ 🌟 Stephen Avenue/8th Avenue: The downtown pedestrian street. If you’re here to shop, there’s The Core and Holt Renfrew. I popped into The Core—it felt so fresh and was really fun to browse. While walking on Stephen Avenue, a guy set up a speaker and started preaching about God… Hardly anyone stopped though… Guess God isn’t too popular here😂 I wandered around and came back, and he was still going… No idea how long he planned to keep it up. 🌟 Peace Bridge: Designed by renowned Spanish 🇪🇸 architect Santiago Calatrava, it has no bridge pillars and spans the entire Bow River directly, reducing impact on the river and the ecosystem. Eau Claire Park is also stunning~ I passed two groups of buskers along the way… Wanted to support them, but had no cash💰 🌟 Did the whole thing on foot. Calgary’s urban planning is really good—streets are named with numbers. East-west ones are called Avenues, north-south ones Streets, and almost all are laid out in a grid. The Bow River is the north-south boundary, and Centre Street (where Calgary Tower is) is the east-west boundary—it makes it so easy to get your bearings~ 🧥 Maxmara #Ootd #CanadaTravel #Sculpture #Calgary #Wonderland #PeaceBridge #maxmara #CalgaryTravel
