A Lively Tavern in Boulder

✏️West End Tavern After work on Wednesday, my colleagues and I strolled to this three-story tavern. The terrace offered a perfect view of the sunset over Pearl Street. 🍺The bartender in a flannel shirt handed us menus and casually placed a plate of complimentary fried pork rinds on the table. The crispy chips, sprinkled with smoked chili powder, 🌈paired with ice-craft beer, instantly soothed our weary souls from a long day at work. 🍝Dining on the terrace was wonderful, especially with such great weather! The benchmark for judging a barbecue spot—the pickles—was truly impressive.🥨 Made with local rainbow carrots and fennel root, they were crisp and appetizing. 💛My colleague liked them so much that they ordered an extra jar to take home.🍵The slow-smoked beef brisket in the beef platter fell apart effortlessly with a fork and was perfectly complemented by the whiskey barbecue sauce. 🍊The dessert chocolate cake even had a popping candy filling, which added a playful surprise. #TerraceTavern #BeefPlatter #Boulder
