🥣This is one of my most frequently visited Japanese restaurants in Providence. 🥣While no single aspect is particularly stunning, what stands out is the effortless balance between casualness and refinement—the menu changes with the seasons, yet classic Japanese elements are always preserved. 🍮The teriyaki duck leg is braised until the meat falls off the bone, with a sauce that strikes the right sweet-salty balance. The creative cocktails use sake as a base and are refreshing with a hint of yuzu peel. 🍮 I especially love their appetizer platter—edamame sprinkled with sea salt and chicken karaage with a light, crisp coating, perfect with drinks. 🥯The décor blends industrial and traditional styles, with concrete walls adorned with ukiyo-e prints and a bar counter displaying rows of sake bottles. 🥯Wednesday nights feature izakaya specials, attracting many office workers from the area.
