I am very saddened by the fact this will be my last visit here. I’ve been coming here for years and it has probably been my favorite restaurant in the area. I have spent a lot of money here. This has been one of my main spots but no ramen is worth the service here. This is the worst service I have ever experienced. Every time I come here this one server is extremely cold and rude I don’t know his name I couldn’t even ask if I tried because he literally runs from the table. He is tall and wears a long ponytail and runs. He takes your order and runs and I am not exaggerating when I say that. I have been putting up with it hoping that I won’t get him each time I go and I have been letting it go. This time, 20 minutes went by waiting for our food and he came to the table and dropped off our check before our food even got there. We waited around another 15 minutes before the food arrived so about 35 mins. A different server brought us our food and when it came we couldn’t even eat it because there were no utensils or chopsticks. No napkins. And he didn’t come to check on us. We wanted soy sauce, we wanted to order more food, more drinks and we did not even have utensils. We had to flag down another person. Our waiter seemed like he never was going to come to our table again we waited another 40 mins before my boyfriend was in the middle of standing up to complain when he finally ran to our table and said do we need something else. We asked for what we wanted then at the end of the dinner he brings a roll of receipts and asks which one is ours. We said thank you at the end and he said nothing back, then we gave a 20% tip and left because we are nice people but never again will I be back. Amazing how one person can ruin such a once great experience. P.S last time I came here we ordered the chicken ramen, we paid full price and no one told us they ran out of every single ingredient in the ramen until we started eating. There was no seaweed, corn, or spinach just egg...

Looking for a nice lunch spot, a woman had recommended Wara Wara for Ramen. A smaller establishment with an eclectic decor of toys and a colorful and vibrant wall mural. It was my first time here and I had mixed feelings. I went this past Saturday for a late lunch. I wasn't impressed with the selection of cocktails on the menu and felt they were very basic. On the chalkboard it featured specials not on the menu and I spotted a cocktail that I was excited to try matching the craft style I love "Hibiscus Blush". So when I ordered it, 15mins goes by. The waiter comes over to tell me " I don't have a recipe for this and it's going to take me time to try and make this". Being familiar with the ingredients in the drink knowing if made correctly how delicious it would be, I politely declined and decided not to get anything at all. I felt if something was being offered, there should've been one individual there working who knew how to make the drink. We sat at a hightop table in front of the bar. Food was great. Tried the Pork Belly Bao Buns, the Pan Fried Gyoza and the Miso Ramen. Taste and flavor overall was excellent. As I'm almost done with my meal, the night crew comes in and a couple people are the behind the bar. I requested the drink one more time and was finally able to try it and it was just as good as I thought it would be. If there were more choices for higher end cocktails such as the Hibiscus Blush and the experience of being there was better, id go back. I didn't care much for the vibes of the staff, not much personality or enthusiasm lacking hospitality skills for a high rated place. No one asked if I needed anything else, how my food was, or if I'd like another drink. Overall experience...

I never am one to write negative reviews as someone who works in the service industry as a server, but I have never have such strange experience and terrible service. We were greeted as soon as we came in and seated immediately. Off the rip, we were seated next to the kitchen when the entire restaurant was empty right on-top of another person. Did not even get seated in our seats before we were asked if we were ready to order. No greeting or anything, he went and grabbed our waters, asked again not even 30 seconds to a minute later if we were ready to order. Neither one of us have never been, so we needed time to order. Again we just kept getting rushed through, asking if we were ready not even 5 minutes later while we still obviously going through the menu. I ordered my appetizer and my friend needed a minute seeing as we kept getting rushed. He came back with our drinks and she put in her app. At that point he rushed us to put in our entrees. He brought out my appetizer and then proceed to tell us he was going on break and his coworkers would be taking care of us — obviously why he was rushing us in the first place. And proceeded to give us the check, we were only there for 10-15 minutes. This whole interaction didn’t even take 10 minutes, but definitely ruined the entire meal. The ramen came out cold, so we couldn’t even enjoy it. So that makes me think he put it in at the same time as her appetizer and it just sat. Neither one of us wanted to say anything seeing as the whole time we felt rushed. The service got better when his coworker took care of us. We both felt uncomfortable the entire time as we kept getting stared at the entire time...

We might’ve just found the best ramen spot in the entire state! WaraWara isn’t just a meal; it’s a mini-getaway to Japan 🗾 right in Providence. From the moment you step inside, the place wraps you in its rustic charm—dark wood interiors, quirky Japanese toys, and a massive mural that would make any Instagram feed jealous 📸. Every corner has character, and it brought me right back to Japan from a recent trip. The service? Lightning fast ⚡. My wife ordered tea, and it magically appeared at the table without us even noticing. Talk about ninja-like delivery skills! 🍵 For starters, we shared the Garlic Chili Edamame, stir-fried with garlic and a seven-spice blend that added just the right amount of kick 🌶️. At $8, it was a perfect appetizer that set the tone for what was to come. Now, the star of the show: the Miso Ramen. This bowl is everything ramen should be—rich, comforting, and packed with flavor. Imagine a steaming pork miso broth, loaded with tender pork belly, a perfectly soft-boiled egg, shiitake mushrooms, crunchy bean sprouts, fresh spinach, and a sprinkle of corn to balance it all out 🌽🥚🍜. It’s $16, but worth every penny, as every spoonful had me convinced I’d found ramen nirvana. Between the cozy vibes, the artful decor, and the soul-warming food, WaraWara is a spot we’ll be revisiting—often. If you’re a ramen lover, or just love great food and unique ambiance, this place is an absolute must-try! 🍜
