A Rare LA Gem: Delicious & Beautiful Michelin Dining ✨

I didn’t have high expectations at first, but the dishes truly blew me away — definitely on my revisit list now! Located in DTLA, street parking can be tricky, but there are plenty of public lots nearby. Plus, it’s perfect for a post-meal city walk 🚶♀️✨ — the area is full of vibey restaurants and bars (the super popular Death & Co. is right next door — great for cocktails after dinner!). Now, the food: 🥐 Cream Puff A complimentary savory amuse-bouche — a salty, airy puff that kicks off the culinary journey. 🐟 Sea Bream & Uni Ordered this stunning sea bream and uni appetizer — it looks like a cocktail or dessert! The first bite is a revelation: green apple sorbet with cucumber notes on top, refreshing and bright. The middle layer blends uni and cream smoothly, while the base holds tender sea bream chunks. Whoever thought of this combo is a genius — it’s like an elevated dip with chips, but paired with icy sorbet. So addictive! 🍥 Scallop The dish that made my friend come back for seconds. Outer seasoning balances sweet and savory, wrapped around a scallop-filled ravioli — absolutely eye-opening. The sauce was so good we finished it with all the bread! 🍗 Chicken This should be on their specialties menu — unbelievably tender, juicy chicken. Even I, who never eats chicken skin, devoured every bit. The sauce is so good you’ll want to coat every bite. 🥩 Ribeye A specialty that requires advance booking. Pricey, but the presentation is a whole experience — they let you pick your steak knife (though honestly, the knives weren’t that great 😅). The meat was decent but way too salty (both my friend and I agreed). Fries were just okay — saved by the vibe. 🥝 Kiwi Dessert The reason I bookmarked this place! A kiwi-shaped ice top, kiwi-mint sorbet in the middle, kiwi pieces and jelly at the bottom. Refreshing, not too sweet — the perfect palate cleanser to end the feast. 🍯 Madeleine I didn’t expect the complimentary nutty madeleine to be this good — I even asked for seconds! 😋 #LALife #LAEats #LosAngeles #LAFood #DTLA #Michelin #FoodieGram #HiddenGemEats
