A Relaxing Trip Near Boston! Rockport Half-Day

I arrived at the famous Roy Moore Lobster Company. As the signature lobster restaurant in the town, I definitely had to check it out! I ordered the classic boiled lobster. When it was served, its bright red shell was very tempting. The lobster meat was indeed fresh and firm, and you could taste the sweet freshness of the sea with one bite~However, to be honest, maybe my expectations were too high. I felt it was "neither good nor bad"—just a standard boiled lobster, no particularly amazing highlights. But if you’re visiting for the first time, it’s still good to try it for the experience. After all, the ritual sense of eating freshly steamed lobster by the sea is full~🦞 After eating lobster, of course, I needed some dessert to refresh my palate! I went to the popular The Ice Cream Store in the town and chose the classic vanilla and chocolate swirl. The ice cream was smooth in texture, but the taste was quite ordinary—no particularly outstanding highlights. It’s the kind of "safe but not memorable" option. It’s okay to have a bite to cool down in summer, but there’s no need to queue up specially for it~🍦 But I found a treasure while shopping! How awesome is Rusty and Ingrid Screen Prints, this hand-printed shop! The store is filled with hand-printed posters, T-shirts, and canvas bags by the owner. The patterns are mostly Rockport’s sea views, lobsters, and colorful small houses, full of the unique charm of the town~Each piece has a great design and excellent texture. In the end, I couldn’t help but buy a canvas bag printed with the town’s scenery as a souvenir. It’s both practical and meaningful, and I regret not buying more as gifts!🛍️ After browsing the commercial street, don’t forget to visit Captain Hedge Ocean View! It’s at the end of the commercial street and is the "signature scenic spot" of Rockport~Standing here, the view is extremely broad. You can see the endless sea, and distant boats glide slowly across the water. The sound of waves hitting the shore is clear. On sunny days, the sun shines on the sea, glistening like a layer of crushed diamonds. Taking a random photo is a "healing sea view blockbuster." Standing here and feeling the sea breeze for a while, it feels like all troubles are blown away~✨ If you like quiet natural scenery, Mill Pond Park is a must-visit! It’s like the "small back garden" of the town, with lush vegetation, dense trees, a small pond, and a wooden boardwalk. Walking inside is very quiet and peaceful~Occasionally, you can see local people taking their children for a walk and feeding ducks here. The atmosphere is very warm. When you’re tired, sit on a bench and rest, listening to the birdsong and the rustling of leaves, enjoying the slow time—it’s super comfortable~🌿 Finally, I went to Front Beach, a small beach🏝️ with fine and soft sand. Although it’s not large, there aren’t many people, making it perfect for walking barefoot on the sand and playing in the water~There are benches by the beach where you can sit and daze at the sea. In the evening, you can also see the sunset shining on the sea, which is extremely beautiful! If you bring kids, this is definitely their paradise—they can play with sand and collect seashells for an afternoon~ Before I knew it, 2-3 hours had passed, and I had visited all the key attractions of the town. Although the time was short, I gained full of happiness and healing vibes~If you want to take a short break on weekends, the half-day tour of Rockport is really suitable. It’s relaxed and comfortable, and you can leave with full of coastal memories!💫 #BostonLife #BostonTravel
