π Coastal Day Trip | Rockport
π Coastal Day Trip | Rockport Adventure Kick off your perfect day with an early morning trip to Rockport β arriving early makes finding parking much easier! π Transportation & Parking Arrive Early: Parking spots are limited but reasonably priced. Free Option: Free street parking is usually available if you're willing to walk a bit further. ποΈ Exploring the Town Harbor Area: Packed with charming shops and art galleries β perfect for a leisurely browse. π¨ Seaside Stroll: Head down to the water and explore the rocky shoreline β kids absolutely love it! β οΈ Tip: The rocks can be a bit tricky, so make sure to wear comfortable shoes! π π¦ Dining Experience Historic Lobster Shack: Review: While it might not blow away Boston locals, the food is still quite good. Seating: There are seats out back, and the staff is friendly. Recommendation: I personally preferred the cold lobster roll over the hot one β the hot version was a bit overcooked. Prices: Cold roll $20, hot roll $30, and three lobsters for $50. π¦ Ice Cream & Coffee: The ice cream shop shares space with a coffee shop, and the flavors are decent. The seating area is quite small, so you might end up taking your treats to go. π¦βοΈ π° Nearby Attraction: Castle Hill (Little Women filming location) Admission: $10 for adults, $5 for children (includes parking and access to the first floor). Experience: A lovely place for a walk when the weather is cool, with beautiful gardens to enjoy. Tip: Not the best visit on extremely hot days. Bonus: Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy a seaside picnic with a refreshing breeze β it's wonderful! π§Ί Note: There's a path leading to the beach, but it's blocked by a fence, so access is likely not permitted. #TodayByTheSea#BostonLife#BostonDayTrips#BostonFood#CastleHill#BostonTravel#Rockport#BostonCoastalTown
