A Romantic French Bistro in West LA 🇫🇷✨
Today, while picking up a friend in West LA, I stumbled upon a charming French restaurant with a lovely courtyard. Since it was dinnertime, we decided to give it a try—and what a wonderful surprise! The place felt like a peaceful escape right in the middle of the city. I absolutely adore spots like this—they feel more genuine and full of character than many overly fancy restaurants. Perfect for after-work gatherings with friends, sharing a bottle of wine 🍷, and catching up on gossip! • French Onion Soup 🧅🍲 Absolutely delicious! The richness of the cheese paired with the sweet depth of the onions was heavenly—and not too heavy. • Duck Leg 🦆 Highly recommended! A bit on the salty side, but still packed with flavor. I really enjoyed it. • Steak 🥩 Not my favorite—it was $65 and pretty underwhelming. If you’re craving good steak, you’re better off going to a dedicated steakhouse. • Oysters 🦪 Fresh and satisfying! • Truffle Fries 🍟❤️ These were a highlight! Fried to perfection, crispy outside, hollow inside—I couldn’t stop eating them! Today’s calorie count is definitely over the top… 😭 But hey, tomorrow’s another day for workouts! 💪 Overall, I’d give it an 8/10! Definitely a place I’d revisit. The restaurant is called Violet L.A. 📍 1121 Glendon Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90024 📞 Reservations recommended—deposit is $25 per person. After your meal, taking a stroll around UCLA is a lovely idea! Wishing everyone a delightful dining experience! 🍽️✨ #FrenchCuisine #VibeDining #AtmosphereRestaurant #LAFrenchFood #HiddenGemsLA #WestLAEats #DateNightSpot #WineLovers #FoodReview #LosAngelesDining
