A Seafood and Steak Extravaganza: A Highlight of Ottawa Travel

šŸ”„怐Ambience怑4/5 The dark brown wood tones, dim lighting, and barn boards and deer heads on the walls give you the feeling of a western bar where cowboys come to eat game after a hunt. But the food is exquisite and delicious, creating an unexpected contrast that's endearing! šŸ”„怐Food怑4.5/5 Seafood Platter (Hot) - $135 It was a rainy and cold day when we went, and both the hot and cold seafood platters were priced at $135. The hot seafood platter is quite rare, and it was truly impressive! None of the dishes were there just to make up the numbers. The bacon-wrapped scallops were salty and fresh! The lobster rolls were tender and refreshing. The Argentine red shrimp were large and fragrant. The mussels were wine-scented and delicious! The old bay fried fish cakes with lime Louis sauce were creamy and not greasy. šŸ”„Caesar Salad + anchovy $21 + $5 The extra $5 for the anchovies was the only downside of the meal... Ordering anchovies is always a big gamble. When fresh, they can elevate the entire dish to a whole new level, but when fishy, they can ruin a dish. Unfortunately, in this case, they were very fishy. However, the Caesar salad itself was good. 14 oz Ribeye - $80 šŸ”„The restaurant has its own aging room, and we chose both to be cooked medium rare. The striploin, which is leaner, becomes tender after aging, with the beef flavor concentrated. The ribeye has always been my favorite! The tender meat, fragrant fat, and full beef flavor are on par with high-end steakhouses in Toronto! The value for money is exceptionalļ½ž #OttawaFood #OttawaSteak #CanadianStudent #Escapade #CanadianCuisine #TorontoStudy #CanadaLife
