A Seaview Restaurant Where the Food is More Beautiful Than the Sunset

🌟A long-time local friend in Seattle recommended it, saying it’s quite characteristic of Seattle. It’s a seaview restaurant located in a mountain resort hotel. I came just in time for the sunset today and could enjoy the sunset over the sea. I suggest booking a window seat in advance. If you don’t mind the cold, you can sit outside for fewer people and better photos. 🌟· Pan-roasted Mussels & Clams Absolutely delicious clam soup, a must-order! The mussels and clams are fresh and plump, and the sauce with onions adds a bit of sweetness. It was so good we ordered two plates. 🌟· New England Clam Chowder SOOOO good, it’s like I’m drinking hot cream potato clam lava. ·🌟 Miso Black Cod Another must-order dish that we had two plates of. The cod is crispy on both sides, locking in the juicy tenderness of the fish, and the bottom is a crispy rice cake that’s a bit like a glutinous rice cake. 🌟Roasted Skagit Valley Chicken How do they manage to make even the breast meat so tender and juicy?! This chicken dying in this kitchen was worth it! The thyme sauce is perfectly seasoned. 🌟 Lobster Mac & Cheese The lobster pieces and macaroni are drowned in a cheese trap, so I guess I’ll happily succumb to it as well. 🌟I thought it was just the view that was good, but I didn’t expect the food to be delicious too, and not too salty. You know, I’ve been salted by Seattle restaurants lately to the point of drinking the Pacific dry… We can eat a lot (. The bill was $360🔪, normally per person is about$100-150! #Seattle #SeattleLife #SeattleFood #HiddenGemsOnlyLocalsKnow #UrbanSketcher #SeattleWeekend #SeattleFoodExploration
