🌿🍃 A Serendipitous Day in Kyoto(1)

🌸🌺 Nijo Castle - Kinkaku-ji - Honnoji Temple 🚶‍♂️ I set off from Osaka at 8:30 AM, but due to taking the wrong train and missing my stop, 🌸🌺🌿🍃 I didn't arrive in Kyoto until 10:30 AM. However, I was just out for a leisurely stroll and not focused on ticking off attractions, so I wasn't in a hurry. 🚉 After walking for a bit and checking the map, I realized Nijo Castle was nearby, so I decided to visit it first. ... 🌸🌺🌿🍃 Thus, I turned around and headed back to the station, tapping my card to take the subway and then a bus, buying tickets on the spot. 🌸🌺🌿🍃 I wandered from 11:30 AM to past 1:00 PM, and the overall experience was quite pleasant. 🏰 Many buildings have retained their original appearance, and since I'm familiar with the history of the shogunate, the visit was quite immersive. ... 🌸🌺🌿🍃 The natural scenery, like maple leaves, was just okay.
