A Slow Day in Richmond + Hobart
No plans today — just a spontaneous trip to Richmond! Took the 725 bus at 10:30 am 🚌… arrived in about 30 mins. Passed so many sheep 🐑 and bunnies 🐇 along the way! The town is small and peaceful — visited the historic Richmond Bridge, wandered in and out of little shops, and tried the famous Czeg’s Honey Cake 🍯✨ Headed back around 2:25 pm. Hobart under a drizzly sky felt so calm and grounded — a quiet, raw kind of beauty 🌧️❤️ Stopped by the waterfront and couldn’t resist trying the “best gelato in Tassie” 🍦 Went for Lavender and Pepperberry & Leatherwood Honey — both unique local flavours! Weirdly addictive… a tad rich though, but super creamy. Maybe it’s not all lush and green here, but winter suits this place ❄️ Loving these slow, chilly days wrapped in cold air and calm vibes 🧣☁️ #Tasmania #TasmaniaTravel #AussieStudentLife #StudyBreak #TravelDiary #Hobart #ExploreTas #SlowTravel
