🥩 A Solid Steak Experience at Kevin Rathbun Steak!

We recently enjoyed a satisfying dinner at Kevin Rathbun Steak – and while it may not have been a flawless 5-star experience, it certainly delivered as a strong 4-star alternative. Here’s my detailed breakdown of what worked, what didn’t, and what’s absolutely worth ordering! 🥓 Starters – Creative & Flavorful “Thick-Cut” Bacon (A) 🥓: Thick, smoky, and packed with savory goodness. A perfect salty start to the meal! Yaya’s Eggplant Fries (A) 🍆: Surprisingly creative! Lightly breaded eggplant fries dusted with powdered sugar and served with a spicy dipping sauce. Sweet, savory, and totally unique! 🦪 Chilled Seafood – A Letdown Oysters on the Half Shell (C+) 🐚: Nothing special here. Below average in freshness and flavor. You can skip these. 🥩 Steaks – The Main Event Dry-Aged Porterhouse for Two (A-) 🔥: Juicy, tender, and cooked just right. A solid choice for sharing! Filet Mignon (B+) 👌: Good, but not exceptional. I’ve had better texture and flavor elsewhere. 🧑‍🍳 Sides – Mixed Bag Roasted Jalapeño Creamed Corn (B-) 🌽: A bit too runny for my taste, and the flavor didn’t quite stand out. Truffle Parmesan Fries (A-) 🍟: Light, fluffy, and crispy – even though I usually prefer thick-cut fries, these were delicious! 🍮 Dessert – A Sweet Finale Crème Brûlée (A) 🍮: Absolutely top-notch! Creamy, perfectly torched, and not overly sweet. 💁 Service – Warm & Attentive Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive – definitely an A in our book! 💰 Price Point Our total for 3 people (before tip) came to $319, including: 💫 Final Verdict Kevin Rathbun Steak may not be the best steakhouse in Atlanta, but it’s a dependable and enjoyable spot for a classic steakhouse experience with a few creative twists. #SteakLovers #HonestReview #FoodieJournal #AtlantaEats #SpecialOccasion
