A Superb Ocean View Restaurant

🍷La Garita is indeed quite hard to find. We circled the La Perla area twice with our GPS before finally spotting it tucked away in a downhill alley near El Morro Fort. 🧡 The staff seated us indoors first and promptly moved us to a window table as soon as one became available. From our seats, we could watch the waves crashing against the reefs and sailboats passing in the distance. 🥣The grilled fish we ordered was perfectly cooked—crispy skin paired with plantain mash that carried a hint of cinnamon. 🧀My friend's seafood paella was generously portioned, with fresh shrimp and mussels. When the server noticed us taking photos, they kindly pointed out the best angles for capturing the view. 🍧Before leaving, we noticed the restrooms were clean and even equipped with foot-washing faucets for beachgoers—a thoughtful detail.
