Newly Built and Renovated Pigeon Park

🪷Parque de las Palomas: Such a lovely area! Named for the many pigeons that gather here, this is a beautiful park in the heart of Old San Juan. 🌹Find a spot to sit under the trees for a while—many people enjoy feeding the pigeons, and if you're feeling motivated, you can too. After visiting the cathedral and looking for a restaurant to eat at, I passed through this park. 🎨None of us had anything to feed them, so they didn’t land on any of us. I took some photos here and tried to see if the nearby chapel was open. 🍃First, the tree-covered views overlooking the bay are gorgeous. With its flower-lined arched walkways, it’s simply a charming area for a stroll… but the best part is the pigeons! 📷Okay, I live in Philadelphia, maybe, but it feels even more magical on vacation… Not only do they wander around, but there are two amazing things: 1) 💎There are all these little square holes in the wall—probably over 100—and inside each one is a pigeon!
