A Trip to Slovakia’s 4th Largest City – Žilina

My friend and I planned a castle adventure 🏰 to Hrad Strečno! We took a 15-minute train from Žilina (only €1! 🚂💨). Fun fact: Žilina is Slovakia’s 4th largest city… but honestly, it felt more like a charming countryside town 😆. 🍳 Food Stop: Monkey House A cozy breakfast spot in the city center. €10-15 per person for a hearty meal—totally worth it! 🥑☕ 🏰 Exploring Hrad Strečno Before climbing up to the castle, we found a souvenir shop at the foot of the hill ⚠️ (cash only!). I fell in love with a beautiful scarf (perfect for the sunny day ☀️🧣), but… no card payments!
