A Truly Authentic Ethiopian Experience! ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ›

DC has quite a few Ethiopian restaurants โ€“ and theyโ€™re definitely worth trying! My first taste was during Passport DC at the Ethiopian Embassy ๐Ÿ›๏ธ, and I was hooked by the unique flavors and delicious lamb and beef dishes. Later, I visited Eatopia Eatery, but this time โ€“ Family Ethiopian Restaurant felt even more authentic! ๐Ÿ‘จ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿ‘ง๐Ÿ‘ฆ๐Ÿ’ซ ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ What We Ordered: โ€ข Dulet: A flavorful stir-fry made with lamb tripe, lean beef, onions, and spices โ€“ rich and aromatic, almost like a savory minced meat topping! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿง…๐Ÿ”ฅ โ€ข Goden Tibs: Grilled meat โ€“ looked a bit plain and was slightly tough, but still tasty overall. ๐Ÿฅฉ๐Ÿ‘Œ โ€ข The next table ordered traditional Ethiopian coffee โ€“ served with burning incense for a full cultural experience! โ˜•โœจ ๐Ÿ“Œ Family Ethiopian Restaurant 1414 9th St NW, Washington, DC 20001 PS: Also saved the spot next door โ€“ Chercher Ethiopian Restaurant & Mart (1334 9th St NW)! ๐Ÿ“ PPS: Previously tried โ€“ Eatopia Eatery (1301 U St NW #111)! ๐Ÿด #Foodie #JHUdc #DMVArea #DMV #JHUdcCampus #RestaurantWorthRepeating #EthiopianCuisine #CulturalEats #DCfoodExploration #AuthenticFlavors #LambDish #BeefStirFry #TraditionalCoffee #IncenseVibes #ComfortFood #GlobalEats #UStreetDC #FamilyRun #HiddenGem #ShareTheFeast
