A Truly Authentic Ethiopian Experience! ๐๐
DC has quite a few Ethiopian restaurants โ and theyโre definitely worth trying! My first taste was during Passport DC at the Ethiopian Embassy ๐๏ธ, and I was hooked by the unique flavors and delicious lamb and beef dishes. Later, I visited Eatopia Eatery, but this time โ Family Ethiopian Restaurant felt even more authentic! ๐จ๐ฉ๐ง๐ฆ๐ซ ๐ฝ๏ธ What We Ordered: โข Dulet: A flavorful stir-fry made with lamb tripe, lean beef, onions, and spices โ rich and aromatic, almost like a savory minced meat topping! ๐๐ง ๐ฅ โข Goden Tibs: Grilled meat โ looked a bit plain and was slightly tough, but still tasty overall. ๐ฅฉ๐ โข The next table ordered traditional Ethiopian coffee โ served with burning incense for a full cultural experience! โโจ ๐ Family Ethiopian Restaurant 1414 9th St NW, Washington, DC 20001 PS: Also saved the spot next door โ Chercher Ethiopian Restaurant & Mart (1334 9th St NW)! ๐ PPS: Previously tried โ Eatopia Eatery (1301 U St NW #111)! ๐ด #Foodie #JHUdc #DMVArea #DMV #JHUdcCampus #RestaurantWorthRepeating #EthiopianCuisine #CulturalEats #DCfoodExploration #AuthenticFlavors #LambDish #BeefStirFry #TraditionalCoffee #IncenseVibes #ComfortFood #GlobalEats #UStreetDC #FamilyRun #HiddenGem #ShareTheFeast
