A Warm Meal After the Exhibition
After visiting the poster exhibition at the hall, my legs were tired! I quickly found a cozy little restaurant nearby to eat something warm. As soon as I entered, I was surrounded by a lively atmosphere and instantly relaxed 😊. The first to arrive was the sashimi platter. The fish looked glossy and very fresh 🍣. Dipped in a little soy sauce and placed in my mouth, it was soft and tender with a clean, sweet taste—it really woke up my appetite 🤤! It’s true that starting a meal with something cool and refreshing is the way to go. Next, I tried the signature okonomiyaki. It looked thick and substantial, topped with sauce and dancing bonito flakes. Cutting into a piece, it was packed with ingredients like vegetables and shrimp, and the warm, savory aroma filled the air 👃. The outside was slightly crispy, while the inside was soft and hearty—a bit like a large version of takoyaki, yet also similar to a filling seafood pancake. It was really unique and delicious! Highly recommend giving this a try. I also ordered a few skewers, but these were just average—neither too salty nor too bland, nothing too memorable 😅. The beef dish, however, was a pleasant surprise! Thinly sliced and grilled just right, it was tender and juicy with every bite. Pretty good 👌. I ended the meal with unagi don—grilled, fragrant eel laid over rice, accompanied by bright green scallions. I mixed all the scallions and eel into the rice, letting every grain soak up the sauce and the rich flavor of the eel 🍚. The scallions cut through the richness perfectly, making a wonderful combination! Bite after bite, I cleaned the bowl before I knew it 💖. This meal was so satisfying and warmed me up from the inside out. Eating well really lifts your mood 😌! Time for a slow walk back ~ #EverydayEats #HealingDinner #EatWell #FoodFind
