A Weekend Trip to Atlantic City, New Jersey 🎰🌊

Went to Atlantic City over the weekend for an event. It's bigger than the casinos in Connecticut but feels older and a bit rundown. 🏚️ In the evening, we took a stroll along the Boardwalk. There were tourist trolleys and electric bikes passing by, and from time to time, we caught whiffs of marijuana in the air. 🍃 Not far away was the famous "The Hook" adult show, but we weren’t interested and skipped it. The next morning, I was woken up by noise from next door. After struggling with the idea for a while, I decided to go catch the sunrise—but didn’t make it in time. Ended up snapping a photo between the buildings instead. 🌅 Then I spent some time on the beach photographing seabirds. 🐦 On the way back, while the crowd was still thin, I took a few shots of the casino. Didn’t feel much urge to gamble, though—just passed through quickly. After the event, headed home. That’s pretty much how the trip went—simple and straightforward! ✅ 📌 About Atlantic City: The Famous Boardwalk: One of the oldest boardwalks in the world (built in 1870), stretching about 6 km, lined with casinos, hotels, restaurants, and souvenir shops. Casinos & Entertainment: Nearly all the major casinos are here—Caesars, Borgata, Hard Rock, Tropicana, and more. Outlet Shopping: Tanger Outlets (The Walk) offers dozens of brand-name stores—great for shopping lovers. Beach: Free public beach (unlike many paid beaches on the East Coast), perfect for walking, sunbathing, and surfing. #PhotoDiary #WeekendGetaway #AtlanticCity #TravelJotting
