A Wonderful Encounter with Nature and Animals in Charlotte

Lazy 5 Ranch 💕Visited the drive-through zoo Lazy 5 Ranch in northern Charlotte over the weekend. Mimicking the style of a Texas farm, it’s a cash-only establishment. At the entrance, we bought two big buckets of heavy feed. You can start by interacting with and feeding the llamas, goats, and calves that are in a penned area near the parking lot. 💕As soon as we entered the drive-through, we were greeted by two long-horned cattle that seemed to be guarding the entrance (eyeing our food with interest). As soon as I pulled a bucket of feed out of the car window, they swooped in with their tongues and scooped up all the feed, bucket and all. 💕Along the way, we saw a variety of wild animals foraging in groups, snatching food from the hands of visitors. I managed to capture a few moments of baby goats and antelopes feeding! I also saw many kids excitedly waving their little buckets filled with feed, eagerly waiting for the animals to come and visit – so cute! Visiting this zoo on a warming spring weekend is a great way to relax! #NorthAmerica #NorthCarolinaSurroundings #NorthAmericanLife #WhatToDoInCharlotteNC #NorthAmericanWeekendLife #HumansAndNature #DriveThroughZoo
