Absolutely in love with the decor here! The food is amazing

It was our first day in Calgary. We arrived at noon, explored downtown in the afternoon, and came here for dinner. Full disclosure: I had a headache after landing and was feeling a bit jet-lagged. By dinner time, I was at peak discomfort - literally one more bite and I would've thrown up. After tasting a few dishes, my boyfriend finished everything (except the pasta). Lesson learned: always pack probiotics when traveling! 🍽️ Dish Reviews 🥦 Cauliflower ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ordered based on popular recommendation. It was good, though not quite the revelation I expected. The roasted cauliflower was tender with a creamy peanut/sesame sauce base, topped with ginger-scallion dressing - an interesting combo! Personally not big on ginger-scallion, and the red Korean chili sauce was barely noticeable. Solid starter though. 🥩 Prime Striploin ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Delicious! And the portion was surprisingly generous for the price. Perfectly charred crust with juicy pink interior, seasoned with what tasted like cumin-spiced lamb skewers. Served with a tomato-bell pepper stew underneath. Fantastic cut + seasoning - must order! 🍝 Gigli ⭐️⭐️⭐️💫 Our server's favorite, but my first bite was underwhelming - where's the flavor? On closer tasting, the subtle notes of fresh ingredients and nutty richness came through, but required real focus to appreciate. The only dish we didn't finish (I was truly incapacitated). Had leftovers next morning and got stuffed until dinner! 🍺 Hazy IPA ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ BF's pick: "Much less bitter than regular IPAs, really light-bodied." ✨ Dining Experience Vibes: Killer atmosphere with lush greenery everywhere. We snagged bar seats without reservations on a weekday - fun watching the kitchen action! Clientele: Very chic urban crowd. We looked hilariously out of place in our hiking gear lol. Service: Spot-on! Got complimentary postcards at checkout. Our server immediately pegged us as tourists - turns out she's also from Mississauga!
