What an amazing and lovely dining experience! I think it's been a while since I have been to a restaurant where everything was amazing - food, drinks, service, customer service and so forth. I, honestly, have no complaints with any aspect of our experience. Even before arriving, as we were parking, the restaurant texted to confirm our table was ready and to ensure we were still on our way. Once there, we were greeted by staff and immediately shown to our table. Our server was incredibly helpful and attentive and was consistently on top of our dining needs throughout the night. They regularly refilled our water, ensured we were good for drinks, gave us fresh cutlery and changed out our plates and were knowledgable about the menu and which foods would pair well with each other. There were lots of vegetarian options on the menu which was great but they also had a fish & meat section which looked really tasty too. We were informed that at Ten Foot Henry, dishes were meant to be shared and that usually 3 to 4 dishes was sufficient for 2 people. We, ultimately, decided on the cauliflower, eggplant and 2 pasta dishes (tag with egg yolk and one with a pesto sauce) to share. Everything was absolutely amazing. The dishes were all incredibly well made and everything was just delicious. It's honestly a bit hard to put the experience in to words and summarize how tasty the drinks and food were. You'll just have take my word for it and go and experience it for yourself. I think the only thing to be aware of is that the food can be a bit pricey but it is certainly worth it. Absolutely must try! Thank you to the staff at Ten Foot Henry for making our dining experience so wonderful.

Ten Foot Henry is a must-try! We came here for the first time, for brunch. On first glance, their brunch menu looks underwhelming and honestly, kind of odd as you are meant to order some brunch items and some sides from their main (dinner) menu. Underwhelming it was not! We ordered the Four Egg Omelette ($17, with whipped goat cheese, endive, herbs) and the Sourdough Pancake ($19, with vanilla, whipped cream, and maple syrup) and for sides, the Fried Potatoes ($13, with herbs, jalapeno, and green goddess dressing) and the Henry Salad ($15, with baby greens, tahini miso, radish, and crispy shiitake). The food was absolutely fantastic. The four egg omelette, although it sounds simple, was quite lovely. The endive added a wonderful lemon note to the dish. One note for Chef was that I did not get any whipped goat cheese until my last bite (I had half of the omelette). Still would recommend regardless. The sourdough pancake is absolutely huge and so yummy! It's very odd as it looks dense, but actually is moderately light and oh so moist. We could not finish it between the two of us and I can attest that it tastes just as good after being in the fridge. The Henry Salad was also quite refreshing and, although this is an odd way to describe a salad, very fresh. You'll understand when you try it. Potatoes were so delicious. There were no misses here and I would absolutely order the same four dishes again for brunch. For ambience, Ten Foot Henry is bright and airy. If I lived in Calgary, this would be my go to spot! Highly recommend!

First time coming here with he family. We've heard so much about this place and decided to check it. Located downtown Calgary and if you park after 6 pm its free. Restaurant was roomy and well laid out. Lots of plants everywhere. Tuna Crudo - this dish was way too salty especially with the capers. I would not order this again, Kale Caesar salad was delicious. The fried egg was an interesting touch as it added richness to the salad. Charred Cabbage - this was disappointing as there was lots of positive reviews on this. The cabbage was just under cooked on the larger pieces and was tough to cut with a knife even. The sauce it on it was really good. Just the texture of the cabbage the issue. Think it the pieces were cut smaller it would have cooked more consistent. Roasted Chicken - was perfectly cooked. It was moist and well seasoned. The sauce was on the side as requested. I really enjoyed this dish. Spaghetti - was cheesy and my kids enjoyed it. Taglitelle - kale pesto pasta was just too salty. I would not order it again. Fried potatoes - this was really good and I know there were several positive reviews on this. Dessert was also a miss. I think next time I would skip it. I think it was a coconut toasted cake and some kind of toffee dessert. The service was excellent. Our waitress did a really good job with our table. Unfortunately some of the dishes were over salted. On some dishes they really nailed it but on the dishes that were a miss really just made it not a pleasant experience. Overall I would give this place 3 stars

I'll start by saying I'm a huge restaurant explorer, and it's not a stretch to say this might be the best restaurant I've eaten at to-date! They have a great wine selection and cocktail menu; the servers gave some great wine recs and I had a perfect cocktail (sweet, spicy, and acidic). The food menu is vegetable forward and quite interesting. They served me the best cauliflower and eggplant dishes I've ever had -- it shouldn't be possible to make eggplant taste that good! Both dishes had perfect blends of flavors and they seem to work magic with the sauces here on every dish. I'd marry the sauce they had those perfectly cooked scallops sitting in! I'd cheat on that sauce with the sauce the chicken was sitting in! The butterscotch pudding was amazing execution of a sweet and salty dessert -- I give it a 9/10. The dining room is attractive, the staff all have personality, and there's counter seats where you can watch the chefs do their magic. Lastly, I must give a shout out to our server one night, Taylor. She gave A+ service and some excellent recs for us out-of-towners. Give her a bonus or something!.. Wow! Ten Foot Henry is definitely a destination restaurant! I was amazed I could get two tables booked with only a few days notice.

This place was outstanding, I was amazed at their service and food. All the servers were knowledgeable about the food and took the time to explain what was presented and had a lot of great recommendations! My server was Lucas and they were so nice! I really recommend the cauliflowers, it tasted so good with the gochujang sauce and the sesame sauce really balanced it out. We also had the roasted chicken, I thought it would be dry but it was so good and not dry at all. After we had dessert, the cheesecake cream puffs weren’t too sweet and was balanced out with this raspberry sauce. The butterscotch pudding was so good, although I wouldn’t recommend it to someone if they don’t like sweets. Just to say again, the service was incredible, I never once had to pour my own water and that’s not even an exaggeration. I really appreciated how caring and considerate the workers were! The place is also very aesthetic if you wanted to take pictures here too! On a side not when we were paying, Lucas gave me this absolutely cute postcard! It’s so adorable, tourists who come to Calgary sometimes would actually send the postcards back from their home country and it was just so sweet that I had to share. :)

Despite my initial attempt to order some of the meat related items on the menu everyone seemed to be getting the vegan/vegetarian items and this is what the place is known for so I participated. The service was amazing, our server was very friendly and gave us recommendations for every item. The atmosphere was very green and felt like a modern restaurant mixed with a forest with everything being wood based and vines hanging from the walls and ceiling. Again I was very skeptical ordering the vegan/vegetarian dishes but I was proven wrong as every dish we ordered was incredible and had amazing flavour brought out by the ingredients. The Henry Salad had crisp salad and mushrooms which added flavour and crunch to the bites as well as a dressing which added incredible flavour. The roasted cauliflower was my favourite dish as the cauliflower was fresh and the dressing elevated the dish to put this as my favourite vegan dish that I’ve tried. Finally the potatoes which were some of the best I’ve ever had, they were cooked perfectly and crisp to the bite as well as seasonings and cream on top that made it perfect. There’s so much I can describe so I would recommend trying it for yourself.
