Addis Ababa | Must-visit spots

UNITY PARK (Prime Minister's Office) The Prime Minister's Office is located right at Meskel Square; it is quite spacious, and you can spend half a day there; there are lions in the zoo, as well as several small museums showcasing some of Ethiopia's unique features; the scenery is beautiful, and many newlyweds come here to take wedding photos. Friends Park (Friendship Park) The park constructed by Chinese aid is not very large, but the scenery is nice, and the view of Addis Ababa from the direction of Sheraton and CBE Building is beautiful and modern; it’s a great place for a morning run or to soak up some sun on weekends. MESKEL SQUARE This square is a landmark in Addis Ababa, and it's particularly recommended to visit it in the evening when you can sit on the steps, watch the sun slowly set, feel the cool breeze, and enjoy the pleasant atmosphere. Many people come here to skateboard or ride bicycles, and sometimes you can even play table tennis. There is a spacious area accessible from the side where various exhibitions and sales events are frequently held, featuring a wide variety of goods at reasonable prices. The Holy Trinity Cathedral This church holds a very high position in Ethiopia; when I visited, it was under renovation, but it was still evident that it used to be magnificent and very European-style, and there is also a section of the cemetery for famous people buried there; girls should dress conservatively when they go in, otherwise, some people might be displeased and think that you are not showing respect for the sacred place. MT. ENTOTO Entoto Mountain is quite large, and you can spend a long time exploring it; there are also plenty of activities to choose from, such as horseback riding, Martin cars, cable cars, and so on; while the overall security situation is not bad, it is still advisable to travel in groups, as the temperature in the mountains is generally lower than at the foot of the mountain; it is not recommended to ride the cable car, as the safety measures in place might not be sufficient; it is best to descend the mountain as soon as possible; moreover, it is highly recommended to have your own driver, as drivers at the foot of the mountain tend to charge exorbitant fares. #Travel #Guide #Ethiopia #AddisAbaba #TravelinAfrica
