π Adelaide Weekend Getaway β 48 Hours of Pure Outdoor Fun! πΏ
Last weekendβs weather was absolutely perfect βοΈ, so my friends and I made the most of every ray of sunshine with a full outdoor 48-hour adventure β from the hills to the sea! Hereβs our itinerary for inspiration π Saturday π· 10:00 AM β Down the Rabbit Hole Wines π Down the Rabbit Hole Wines (opens at 11 AM) No booking needed β just walk in! Super chill vibe with music, wine, pizza, and good conversations πΆππ·. (Their cheeseboard was just okay β not my top pick.) Bonus: a gorgeous almond blossom view at the entrance, and we even spotted alpacas in the backyard! π¦π πΈ After Lunch β Willunga Almond Blossoms Just a 6-7 minute drive from the winery. Plenty of blossoms along the road β park wherever safe! Perfect weather = perfect photos πΈβ¨ The blossoms should last another week or two β hurry before theyβre gone! π Late Afternoon β Onkaparinga River Mouth View Point Drove back toward this iconic stairview spot β totally worth it! You could also stop at Port Willunga Beach π β we found pretty stones and shells, and a friend discovered a huge conch! ππ€© If you time it right, stay for sunset or golden hour π Sunday βͺοΈ After church β Hiking at Springwood Park π Springwood Park Trail An easy, gentle trail β no steep slopes π₯Ύ Lots of dog walkers β perfect for puppy spotting! πΆπ A creek runs through, making everything extra green β felt like Adelaideβs own Secret Garden πΏβ¨ We even saw wild chives and a super cute koala clinging to a branch! π¨ π Sunset at Mount Osmond Lookout Drove up for sunset views β stunning in every season! Bring a book, lay out a picnic mat, and enjoy a quiet moment π§Ίπ Note: It can get windy β bring a jacket! π§₯ Whether youβre climbing hills or walking beaches, weekends are for soaking up the sun, disconnecting from work, and reconnecting with the world ππ #FindYourTrail #48HoursOutdoors #AdelaideWinter #TravelDiary #AlmondBlossoms #HikingAdelaide #AdelaideSunsets
