🌞 Adelaide Weekend Getaway – 48 Hours of Pure Outdoor Fun! 🌿

Last weekend’s weather was absolutely perfect β˜€οΈ, so my friends and I made the most of every ray of sunshine with a full outdoor 48-hour adventure – from the hills to the sea! Here’s our itinerary for inspiration πŸ‘‡ Saturday 🍷 10:00 AM – Down the Rabbit Hole Wines πŸ“ Down the Rabbit Hole Wines (opens at 11 AM) No booking needed – just walk in! Super chill vibe with music, wine, pizza, and good conversations πŸŽΆπŸ•πŸ·. (Their cheeseboard was just okay – not my top pick.) Bonus: a gorgeous almond blossom view at the entrance, and we even spotted alpacas in the backyard! πŸ¦™πŸ’• 🌸 After Lunch – Willunga Almond Blossoms Just a 6-7 minute drive from the winery. Plenty of blossoms along the road – park wherever safe! Perfect weather = perfect photos πŸ“Έβœ¨ The blossoms should last another week or two – hurry before they’re gone! 🌊 Late Afternoon – Onkaparinga River Mouth View Point Drove back toward this iconic stairview spot – totally worth it! You could also stop at Port Willunga Beach 🐚 – we found pretty stones and shells, and a friend discovered a huge conch! 🐚🀩 If you time it right, stay for sunset or golden hour πŸŒ… Sunday β›ͺ️ After church – Hiking at Springwood Park πŸ“ Springwood Park Trail An easy, gentle trail – no steep slopes πŸ₯Ύ Lots of dog walkers – perfect for puppy spotting! πŸΆπŸ’š A creek runs through, making everything extra green – felt like Adelaide’s own Secret Garden 🌿✨ We even saw wild chives and a super cute koala clinging to a branch! 🐨 πŸŒ„ Sunset at Mount Osmond Lookout Drove up for sunset views – stunning in every season! Bring a book, lay out a picnic mat, and enjoy a quiet moment πŸ§ΊπŸ“– Note: It can get windy – bring a jacket! πŸ§₯ Whether you’re climbing hills or walking beaches, weekends are for soaking up the sun, disconnecting from work, and reconnecting with the world πŸŒπŸ’› #FindYourTrail #48HoursOutdoors #AdelaideWinter #TravelDiary #AlmondBlossoms #HikingAdelaide #AdelaideSunsets
