Adorable Mini Bowls Full of Surprises! šŸ¦€āœØ

Visited a hidden Japanese gem today that seems totally under the radar~ Located in Long Beach, I was drawn in by the oyster sign out front 🤩 and decided to give it a try. Spotted a "Chef’s Choice" section on the menu—the chef curates a selection based on seasonal fresh ingredients. You get a set number of sushi pieces at a set price—around $20–30, pretty affordable~ It’s got that omakase vibe like in Japan! ✨ The freshness is absolutely unreal—the sweet shrimp were still swimming in the tank 🦐 The server called me over and said if I wanted to try them, the chef would scoop them live right in front of me! You can sit up close and watch the whole processā€¼ļø Wanted to order oysters, but they were unfortunately out of stock šŸ˜… Next time then~ Ended up getting uni and large scallops instead—so good! šŸ‘ You can order a set of 6 pieces or just a few individually—I got two to satisfy the craving and they were super fresh~ Two standout dishes I highly recommend: šŸ¦€ Crab Sushi Combo – Absolutely fantastic! Four varieties: salmon, tuna, yellowtail, and snow crab meat—each bite is bursting with freshness. You wrap them yourself in nori and add fresh wasabi šŸ‘ A bit pricey but totally worth it. šŸš Mini Donburi – You can choose salmon or tuna, topped with ikura over rice. It’s a single-serving portion served in an ice-cream-cup-sized bowl—so cute! Perfect for a light meal—satisfying but not too filling. šŸ± Also ordered two rolls because of a great deal—second roll half price! šŸ‘ Avocado Salmon Roll & Soft Shell Crab Roll~ Taste-wise they were decent, but portions were huge—saw a neighboring table of foreigners order multiple plates! The staff recommended a unique "Spicy Fried Roll" šŸ”„ The outside is crispy-fried—my first time trying that texture—really surprising in a good way! Overall, a delightful experience—the lighting, decor, and atmosphere gave off a date-night vibe šŸ’« If you’re visiting Long Beach, definitely worth a stop āœ… #LifeAbroad #FoodExplore #JapaneseCuisine #SushiSpot #FoodShare #LAEats #SushiLovers #RestaurantReview #LifeInUSA #HiddenMenu #ChefsChoice #FreshSeafood #LongBeachEats #OmakaseVibes #CozySpot #DateNightIdea
