Adventure Guide | Chicago Adler Planetarium
Chicago has several large museums with free days, and I'm trying to cover them all in these few days. · The Adler Planetarium is the smallest of the museums I've visited, but it has the best views, haha. If you're just sightseeing, you can finish in an hour, but if you want to experience every exhibit, it'll take over two hours. · ✅Free for Illinois Residents on Wednesdays from 4-9pm. You can get tickets on-site with your ID or book online in advance. If you book online, you'll receive an email with a barcode to scan at the entrance—no need to show your ID. ✅Plenty of Fun Activities for Kids. There are rocket launch simulators, code-breaking games, and constellation drawing—something for both boys and girls. Don't miss the photo booth on the lower level where you can take pictures with a panoramic view of Chicago! ✅The Café Has Amazing Views. During the free entry hours, you can enjoy the blue skies, sunset, and the Chicago skyline as the city lights up. The coffee prices are reasonable, but the fruit cups are a bit pricey. This is a must-visit spot for photography enthusiasts! #MakeTheMostOfEveryWeekend #AutumnAdventures #CityScapes #ChicagoLife #FamilyFriendlyActivities #UrbanFun
