After One Year at Warwick, I Discovered…
Coventry Is NOT “Villagey” At All‼️ 🎉 ✨ My one-year Master’s at Warwick is almost over 🥹🥹… Looking through my photos, I realized this “Chinese-food-obsessed” stomach found immense satisfaction in little Coventry 😌❤️! 🌟 Before coming to the UK 🇬🇧, I saw so many people online calling Coventry “too rural and small”… But guess what? The Chinese food here is both delicious AND affordable 🥢💷! (Yi Pin Ba Shu and Xiang Zi Li are my secret go-to canteens! 👍) 🏊 Though I live downtown and the campus gym is a bit far, I can walk to Wave in just a few minutes 🚶♀️→ fitness, swimming, yoga 🧘, and even a water park?! 🥳 Sometimes I also go bowling 🎳, play pool 🎱, or race go-karts with friends! 🏎️💨 🚂 The best part? The train station is only 2 minutes away on foot! I often grab a few-pound ticket to Birmingham 🎫→ for Haidilao hot pot 🍲 and shopping 🛍️! On weekends, London is just over an hour away → perfect for eating and exploring 🤩! 💎 Now I’m so glad I turned down Bristol’s BA and chose Warwick 😌… Living in Coventry is super convenient for going anywhere 🗺️! I’ve truly learned that when applying to UK unis, besides the program and school, the city you live in REALLY matters ❗ In remote cities, it’s harder to meet friends or avoid winter blues 🥺… 👉 24/25fall friends who want to study in Coventry—DM me if you want food/fun recommendations!! 🤓 #Coventry #WarwickUni #UKStudy #StudyAbroadApplication #25FallUK #StudyAbroadTips
